Valerie's diverse background, global perspective and cross-cultural skills allow her to manage a wide range of projects and personalities across cultures and time zones. Whether managing the infinite details of doing research in the field, observing the rituals of preparing dinner, interviewing shoppers in their local bodega, or leading multicultural training workshops, Valerie applies her cross-cultural management and moderating skills to help organizations better understand the needs and aspirations of people all around the world. Meryl Brown, Director of Field Services, makes sure that projects run seamlessly, on-time and on-budget. Although no small feat, Meryl manages to oversee MTRG's team of field ethnographers, interviewers and recruiters across several time zones. When she's not managing teams across multiple continents, Meryl, a fog city transplant, can be found planning her next surfing adventure where she won't have to wear a wet suit.

Alex Gomez, PhD., delivers insights and strategy on Hispanic consumer behaviour in the US and in the emerging markets. Originally from Mexico City, where he provided insights for multinational giants such as Unilever, Coca-Cola and General Mills, he is now based in New York. Seldom in any one place for long and with over one million frequent flier miles under his belt, Alex could be sitting next to you jockeying for the armrest on your next flight.
